Rules

How to play Chase the Ace and  Ticket Sales

1. To participate and purchase tickets you must be at least 18 years of age and live in the United States. If a minor's name is drawn the weeks drawing is void. No monies will be paid out, no card will be drawn, and the raffle will continue to the next week.

2. Tickets are $5 each, 5 for $20, or 15 for $50  and you can buy as many as you want.

3. New tickets must be purchased each week to be entered into the

raffle. Tickets will not carry over.

4. Tickets must Include:

Name, Phone Number and ticket/envelope number.

 5. You can purchase tickets the following ways:

a. Online at www.huronallstars.org/cta anytime after the weekly drawing up until 6:45pm Monday nights

 b. Monday nights from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Scoreboard from a member of the Huron Hockey Association (Card or Cash – no checks)

c. During the season home games at all league level state sanctioned games.

6. You will not receive any type of receipt for your payment if in CASH, if paid via a card, you will receive a receipt emailed to you from our square account.

7. Online ticket sales will end Monday at 6:45 pm.

8. In person ticket sales will end Monday at 7:00 pm.

Drawing

1. The drawing will be held live around 7:00 pm CST each Monday at the Scoreboard Bar & Grill, 56 3rd St SE, Huron, SD (This is subject to change due to Holidays, special events, or the sale of the Scoreboard).  The drawing will be broadcasted live on the Huron AllStars Facebook page.

a. You need not be present to win.

b. The person drawing the ticket each week will be randomly selected.

c. A single ticket is drawn to determine our weekly winner.

2.  The game board conceals randomly placed cards with 54 sealed numbered spaces. (includes 2 jokers)

3. If your ticket is drawn and you are not present and you did not identify which number you want, we will call you to see which number you want.  If we are unable to reach you, we will draw a new ticket.

4. Once a card is revealed on the Game board, it is NOT returned. h. If the Ace of Spades  is not picked the pot rolls over to the next week. The pot will continue to build until the Ace of Spades is found.

5. If you open the Ace of Spades, you will win 50% of the total jackpot. The remaining 50% will be donated to the Huron  Hockey Association.

Prize

1. Prize money will be sent via certified mail AFTER we have obtained the necessary W-9

tax information.

a. Winner will be required to provide proper identification.

b. Check will be cut upon receipt of W-9. Any amounts $600 and

greater will receive a 1099 at the end of tax year.
